Hola! I’m Marlene, designer and visual artist born and raised in Los Angeles, CA.

I discovered the art world at age 6 in my dad’s Martial Arts Studio in SoCal. While he taught classes I spent my time sketching & filling my coloring books until my curiosity led me to digital drawing on the Kid Pix school computers in 1st grade. Fast forward to 2026, I’ve now been in the design field for 15 years professionally. My work covers everything from Branding to Murals for Media + Entertainment, Tech, Lifestyle, Food, Sports, Cultural Organisations, Social Causes and more!

Grew up playing Crash Bandicoot & Spyro & still own my PS1 from 1996. Fan of Pee Wee Herman. Top bands I replay while designing include Caifanes + Son Rompe Pera + Bronski Beat + Bad Brains + Nortec. Obsessed with all types of music especially Rock en Español, Punk, Darkwave, Cumbias, Metal and 80s jams. Love Raspados de Vainilla. Love animals. MexiKitsch. Norteña del Sur.
